Whether you are new to Osteopathy, or are a passionate advocate of the practice, you may have questions or curiosities. We value communicating clearly to you about health and osteopathy.
Osteopathic Manual Therapists can treat a wide spectrum of conditions. Treatment is founded on the idea that a mechanically sound body is a well functioning body. When bones, soft tissues and muscles are balanced, the blood vessels and nerves that weave through them can operate well. A body in balance heals more effectively and results in greater well-being.
Rachel Gorman is an Osteopathic Manual Therapist. She graduated from Canada's premier Osteopathic College, the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Post graduation, she ran a high-volume practice in downtown Toronto, at Yonge and College. Now a local, Rachel operates Meaford Osteopathy as the town's first Osteopathic Clinic.
"Rachel was amazing. She took the time to learn about my health history, walked me through the treatment. She made me feel comfortable and safe. I felt a shift after my first appointment. I'm looking forward to my next few appointments. I have complete confidence my hip pain will continue to subside."
"Rachel provided instant relief for my back after a tumble down some stairs left me hobbling around. She took her time to carefully consider the best course of treatment. Her approach was so gentle and sensitive to my needs. In many years of trying different kinds of body work, osteopathy with Rachel has provided the most immediate yet lasting results. She has my highest recommendation!"
